PowAirBox

PowAirBox

The PowAirBox is a system for supplying electricity and compressed air to emergency vehicles. The supply is made via a special coupling and combines air and power in one line. The robust housing is made of glass-fibre reinforced polyamide and has IP55 protection, making it dustproof and splash-proof.

The supply unit enables installation according to DIN 14679. The coupling is automatically disconnected and ejected from the vehicle when the engine is started. It is therefore not possible to tear off the plug when driving off.

Convenient power and compressed air supply system

In addition, the PowAirBox offers further convenient functions: A status indicator signals the battery's state of charge, a delayed switching on of the consumers minimises contact wear of the plug connection. This reduces wear and tear and the associated costs.

Two auxiliary contacts can be freely assigned, e.g. for signal transmission or for setting up a start prevention when voltage is present. Several variants are available: 12 volt and 24 volt, if the charger is located outside the vehicle, as well as a 230 volt variant if the charger is permanently installed in the vehicle.
