The Lithium Power Supply (LPS) is a solution that makes mobile power supply in special and commercial vehicles simple and easy with the latest lithium technology. The LPS was developed by our partner Clayton Power from Denmark. Thanks to it, service vehicles can be equipped with a complete mobile power supply - and that with only one single, compact device.
All components combined in one
In the LPS, components that are otherwise wired individually are housed in a single housing:
- Lithium-ion battery with integrated battery management
- Battery charger
- Complete backup
The housing itself is extremlely compact and handy thanks to its dimensions of 39 cm x 24.4 cm x 25 cm (length x width x height).
12 V and 230 V connections, modern lithium batteries, a status display and a charge booster - all in one housing.
Integrated Charge Booster
Particularly important is the integrated charge booster, which ensures that even in Euro 6 vehicles, both the starting battery under the bonnet and the auxiliary battery of the LPS are reliably charged. And it does this so effectively that the LPS is already one-third charged after only thirty minutes of driving.
The Lithium Power Supply can also be integrated into a 24-volt on-board network by means of an external charging booster. In the vehicle's own garage, charging is simply done via the integrated charger.
230 volt charging
If you don't want to go through the trouble of installing it on the starter battery, you can charge the LPS conveniently via a plug from the 230-volt mains. Of course, charging while driving is not applicable then. If you limit the current draw to 200 watts, however, you will have "juice" on board for more than 4 hours without having to recharge.
The back of the LPS is impressive as well. The recessed grip on the back can be seen above.
Thanks to very simple wiring and the two recessed grips, it is also possible to temporarily remove the LPS from the vehicle and use it at a workplace off the road, for example. The weight of 28 kilos can be lifted by anyone.
To ensure safe usage, the Lithium Power Supply has both a line fuse and a personal protection switch (FI).
Different LPS models
The LPS is available in three models that differ in capacity and output power.
