From one team to another

By sponsoring and supplying new jerseys, we are continuing our long-term partnership with the Schleswig Handball Club (HSG).

Strong partners

HSG has a strong partner in LEAB - and vice versa. The club was formed in 2014 as a merger of Schleswig 06, TSV Friedrichsberg-Busdorf and TSV Hüsby and has since also included TSV Schaalby and TSV Schleswig.

The 122 sets of jerseys sponsored by us will go to various HSG teams. "Especially in difficult times, it is important that team spirit does not end in the changing room, but that we support each other in the region and actively live our values: In the face of a general decline in clubs, as a result of which many children and young people are no longer able to play their sport, we are happy to support HSG. As an association of several parent clubs, HSG is ensuring that children and young people can continue to pursue their team sport in the club," says LEAB Managing Director Richard Westerkamp.

From the region, for the region

HSG youth manager Tim Baumann, who is responsible for the community's public relations work, is also delighted with the cooperation:

We are proud to have had LEAB by our side since 2018. As far as we are aware, we are the only club in the district that has the pleasure of working with a main sponsor. This cannot be taken for granted, especially because we have increasing membership numbers, particularly in the youth sector, and we aim to put the club in a stable position for the long term.

Reliable commitment

Tim Baumann emphasises how important it is to think about and implement regional commitment over the long term: "We play a total of 65 senior matches each season, plus around 60 youth matches. This around 125 games in total per season. Knowing that LEAB will continue to sponsor new jerseys for new handball players in the future is amazing and gives us the planning security we need."

Open in our dealings, united as a team

Honesty, reliability, respect and an optimistic view of the future are the key pillars of the partnership between LEAB and HSG. "We would also like to emphasise the positive talks and openness and feel it is very encouraging how much trust has been placed in us for five years now," adds Baumann.

With so much excitement and anticipation, it's almost a shame that the new season won't start until the beginning of September after the summer break. Our team is ready and we are looking forward to great sporting adventures and many exciting matches - across generations, together and with a great deal of enterprising team spirit.
