New in the assortment: Battery Isolator CDR 12/24 V

Until now, the charging current could only be distributed bidirectionally by the CDR. The new CDR 12/24 V can distribute the charging current both bidirectionally and unidirectionally. The batteries are charged with almost no voltage-drop.

The new plastic housing now protects against short-circuits and, with a weight of 700 g, is significantly lighter than its predecessor model. The design change also makes the battery isolator flatter and narrower, which makes it much easier to install.

The current limitation of the new CDR 12/24 V is 200 A at 12 V and 100 A at 24 V. This makes it noticeably more powerful than its predecessor model.

The CDR 12/24 V is all black.

Instead of permanently installed cables, all features of the new CDR can be installed via numbered plug contacts. For example, a remote LED display can be installed and an override function can be activated to charge the starter battery via the auxiliary battery if the voltage is too low.

Another new feature is the automatic switch-off function, which not only prevents overcharging of fully charged batteries, but also enables the CDR to be used as a cut-off relay.
