Exciting start to the exhibition season

We kicked off our exhibition year 2023 last weekend from 9 to 11 March in Oberwart, Austria. On the Tuesday morning, sales manager Marius Urbanowicz, Melanie Derr from Marketing and Sven Fridrischak from Sales set out to present our solutions for mobile power supply. Their destination: Signal112 - with its origins in the fire brigade fair Oberwart, but with a new concept, which was decisively shaped by the Neue Messe Fulda, which also organises the well-known RETTmobil International.

LEAB also attracted the attention of Austrian private television.

Plenty of time for making contacts

The managing director of the Neue Messe Fulda, Manfred Hommel, was one of the first people we met on site,” explains Marius Urbanowicz. “We got on well and felt comfortable at the event right from the start. Finally, we're back to exhibitions!”.

We were able to use the first day to meet with existing customers who were also exhibiting at the fair. Many intensive discussions have already been held, reports Marius Urbanowicz.

International flair and interest

Signal112 has made it its mission to be the hub for all fire brigades, rescue and aid organisations in Eastern Central Europe. And the exhibition certainly lived up to this claim. Its proximity to Slovenia, Hungary and Slovakia quickly became clear, both in terms of visitors and exhibitors. Language barriers were overcome with technical aids.

“From Friday noon onwards, the fair became really busy and we met with many interested visitors and exhibitors. From construction companies to firefighters from various countries, the fair had the lot and we received a good deal of positive feedback - including about the Lithium Power Supply (LPS II).

Well-known products and positive conclusion

We also found it remarkable that many of the LEAB products are already very well known abroad. The PowAirBox being one of them. The system for current and compressed air supply is already performing well in many foreign emergency vehicles.

For Marius Urbanowicz, there is still a lot of potential in this direction, justifying the decision to travel to Austria for Signal112. “The fair is ideally situated to expand our markets and open up new ones. There is still a lot of potential in the area of charging and feed-in technology, and of course we wish to exploit it. We'll stay tuned and will be happy to come back next year,” says the sales manager.
