Further collaboration with VanSelect

VanSelect is the information portal for van body and conversion solutions and LEAB has been a partner of the portal for some time. At the start of December this year, all partner companies were invited to a three-day workshop in Düsseldorf, and we gratefully accepted. Our sales manager, Marius Urbanowicz, concluded:

At the workshop we were able to have a number of good technical discussions with other members of the network. We exchanged a lot of experiences from which everyone benefits. It's not just about presenting ourselves, it's also about learning from each other.

Review of the IAA

The workshop began with a look back at IAA Transportation: How did the joint stand work? What synergies have emerged? What can be optimised? The feedback was consistently positive, which is why the participating companies agreed that the concept could be repeated at NUFAM 2023 without much change.

Secure power supply in the mobility of the future

One of the core topics of the Düsseldorf workshop was vehicles with electric drives. Since there is no combustion engine in e-transporters that can supply the installed equipment and various additional devices with energy, a second power source must be installed in addition to the battery for the drive. With the ePTO Energy Unit concept, we have created a standard that is available in various capacity sizes for different vehicle models and ensures an uninterruptible power supply - this is essential especially in the area of commercial and special vehicles.

Three days full of exchange and valuable insights were held at the VanSelect workshop in Düsseldorf.

Vehicle manufacturers also in attendance

As at IAA Transportation, many VanSelect partner companies were able to gain inspiration from our high-performance products. In addition, some leading vehicle manufacturers such as MAN, Stellantis and Ford also attended, and we were able to talk to them about various problems and solutions. All in all, it was a highly successful workshop, agreed Marius Urbanowicz.

It was an excellent event from which we were able to take away, and also impart, a great deal of knowledge. The workshop was superbly organised and VanSelect was a great host. First and foremost the Managing Director Matthias Born, who arranged everything in Düsseldorf with aplomb.

It's still a while away, but we are already very much looking forward to the commercial vehicle trade fair NUFAM 2023 in Karlsruhe, where we will once again be running a joint stand with VanSelect and the network.
