LEAB at the Signal112 trade fair

The 2024 trade fair year has begun! Our marketing associate Melanie Derr and sales manager Marius Urbanowicz made the long journey to Oberwart in Austria to take part in Signal112 from 7 to 9 March.

No limits to good contacts

The particular feature of the trade fair for fire and rescue services is its international outlook. Located near the border triangle of Slovenia, Hungary and Austria, the event with 110 international exhibitors is the hub for all fire brigades, rescue and aid organisations in Eastern Central Europe.

"Foreign contacts are always extremely valuable for us. Last year was our first time at this trade fair and we were delighted with the awareness of our products in neighbouring countries," says Marius Urbanowicz. "This year, we met up with many existing contacts again and made new ones as well."

A positive development: the new PowAirBox II

For the first time, we were able to present the evolution of our reliable supply system to an international audience at Signal112. Last year, the predecessor PowAirBox model had already caused a stir and attracted orders from fitters. We were excited to see the reaction to the new model, the PowAirBox II.

Visitors to our stand were particularly impressed by the new combined display of the PAB II and the option to operate the ejector directly on the outside of the body using a touch sensor. The unanimous feedback was that the new variant would be the first choice for the next generation of vehicles. Fire brigades from Croatia and Hungary also showed great interest in our solutions.

One for all: the LPS II

In addition to the new PowAirBox II, our LPS II was also very well received. Many visitors recognised the device and saw the faces behind the lithium-based all-in-one power supply for the first time. The reactions were very positive and we received powerful confirmation that we can fulfil the high requirements for a stable power supply in emergency and rescue vehicles with our systems - from supplying, distributing, charging, storing and converting through to use.

A well-rounded affair

Our conclusion after three days at Signal112 was that the long journey to Austria had been worth it once again. The potential in the field of charging and supply technology is still huge and we were able to make many new contacts while maintaining existing ones. We were also particularly pleased to welcome Rudolf Römer, Managing Director of the German Fire Brigade Association, who we actively support as a sponsoring member. Marius Urbanowicz summarises:

We always enjoy coming back here and there is already a red cross in our trade fair calendar for the next Signal112 in March 2026
