New DIN, new charger: TS Pro from LEAB

With the new edition of DIN 14679 from February 2024 the requirements for chargers for firefighting vehicles have been adapted to the current state of the art. One of the new features is that DC-DC chargers for portable pumps and generators are now also listed. As we at LEAB always have our finger on the pulse of the times, we have already reacted to the publication in advance and will be presenting a new charger at RETTmobil that fulfils the current requirements of the new standard. You will find us from 15 to 17 May 2024 at stand B 1901 (indoor) and J F42 (outdoor.)

TS Pro: Innovation meets practicality

Our new TS Pro DC-DC charger combines flexibility and robustness in a product that has been specially designed for the needs of fire brigades. It supports both 12 V and 24 V systems and deliberately avoids fixed connection cables to ensure universal compatibility. Instead, we offer a selection of connection cables with the most common connector types, including the BEOS connector. The robust aluminium housing not only guarantees durability, but also maximum protection (IP65) against dust and water. This ensures a constant and reliable power supply to the devices even under the most challenging conditions.

Movable caps protect the reverse polarity proof input and the short-circuit proof output from dust and dirt.

More than just a charger

With five charging characteristics for all battery types and the option of measuring the temperature directly on the battery plus an additional power supply mode (mains adapter function), the TS Pro sets new standards in terms of charging technology. In addition, features such as the undervoltage protection, the reverse polarity protected input and the short-circuit proof output ensure unrivalled safety and reliability in use. What is particularly practical is the fact that the new charger remembers the last set charging mode and starts automatically if the power supply has been interrupted.

At LEAB, we are not content to accept the status quo. Our mission is to constantly push the boundaries of what is possible and deliver solutions that not only meet current requirements, but anticipate and exceed them. The TS Pro is an example of our innovative strength and our commitment to the needs of fire brigades and other emergency units.
