Successful debut for the PowAirBox II

RETTmobil was held again in Fulda from 10 to 12 May. LEAB was in attendance 23 years ago when it all began. But this year was something very special, because we were able to present two major innovations: Firstly, the premiere of the PowAirBox II - the next generation of the innovative and reliable system for power and compressed air supply for fire and rescue vehicles. And secondly, our brand new, sustainable exhibition stand, which will accompany us at all trade fairs from now on.

“We always look forward to RETTmobil in particular,” says Sales Manager Marius Urbanowicz. “Despite the enormous size of the fair, it still retains an extremely familiar flair.”

A new record number of visitors was set at RETTmobil 2023.

Large crowds at RETTmobil

The exhibition grounds were extended by 4,000 m² compared to the previous year, including 1,000 m² of covered hall space. This proved to be a good decision, not only given the continuous rain on the third day of the fair. Because with over 27,000 visitors, RETTmobil once again exceeded all expectations.

The centrepiece of the LEAB stand was the new PowAirBox II. Our trade fair team of Melanie Derr, Sven Fridrischak, Christian Dethlefsen and Marius Urbanowicz had their hands full presenting the benefits of the new product.

User wishes come true

“The controlled ejection with premature power cut-off as well as the sensor monitoring with start prevention are particularly important when it comes to achieving maximum safety and minimum wear - even with manual operation,” explains Marius Urbanowicz. “We have received consistently positive feedback on the new products in numerous discussions. This was a very successful premiere and the fact that feedback from users was incorporated into the development paid off. A large number of interested parties saw their wishes for the system fulfilled.”

The reusable stand will also appear at future fairs.

Sustainable fair stand

We also received a lot of praise for our new modular exhibition stand, which sets new standards in terms of sustainability thanks to its stability and reusability. After three eventful days, we dismantled it again and took it back north to prepare it for the next exhibition. Marius Urbanowicz summarises:

Congratulations to the organisational team of the fair’s managing director Manfred Hommel. Once again, it was a great event. We're already looking forward to next year; we’ve already submitted our registration.
