10. Electromobility Forum: WTSH event celebrates anniversary with record attendance

The Electromobility Forum is a permanent fixture in Schleswig-Holstein. And the anniversary edition did not disappoint: More than 500 guests accepted the invitation from Wirtschaftsförderung und Technologietransfer Schleswig-Holstein GmbH (WTSH) - a new attendance record. As a result, things were quite lively in the Wunderino Arena in Kiel. Heads from the entire industry as well as interested parties came together to spend a day looking at electromobility in the country from a wide variety of perspectives. The official title of the tenth forum: "Efficiency as a guiding principle for concepts, vehicles and infrastructure".

Mobile power in e-utility vehicles

Of course, this also includes the question of mobile power supply in electrically powered vehicles - our field of expertise. As a result we were represented with a team of several people and a small product show. LEAB authorised representative Fabian Dickau was invited to give a presentation. His presentation on the topic of "Power supply of auxiliary units for electric commercial vehicles" was one of more than 30 specialist presentations that could be heard on this day. His conclusion on the event is clear:

It was a great forum with a number of very interesting discussions. The dynamics and progress in the State are tangible and will shape our work and everyday life. It's exciting to be at the forefront here with smart solutions for mobile power supply.

The topic of our presentation was the "Energy supply of auxiliary units for electric utility vehicles".

Exchange and perspectives

In addition, the variety and structure of the presentations were particularly inspiring: From the keynote address "On the way to the lead market for electromobility" held by Dr. Jan Strobel, Head of Department at the German Association of Energy and Water Industries (Bundesverband der Energie- und Wasserwirtschaft e.V.) to the six different focus topics. The guests were able to choose their own topics and make specific contacts.
